Construction Update

Our emergency shelters on Walworth Street and our property on Ballston Ave are undergoing major renovations. The Emergency Shelter expansion project will add 8 additional beds for those facing homelessness. Once the project is completed, the program will offer temporary shelter and supportive services for up to 31 guests who are ready to work on housing and health stabilization.

The former Spa Motel on Ballston Avenue in Saratoga Springs will become a 9-unit permanent supportive housing program for individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

Ways to Give: Split Interest Charitable Fund

Split interest charitable funds, like Charitable Remainder Trusts (CRTs) and Charitable Lead Trusts (CLTs), provide a unique opportunity for donors to support charitable causes while also benefiting themselves or their beneficiaries. By transferring assets into these trusts, donors can receive income or support for a specified period, with the remaining assets ultimately benefiting designated charities. These arrangements offer donors the chance to make a lasting impact on both their legacy and the causes they care about, all while enjoying financial benefits for themselves or their loved ones.

By utilizing these funds to support Shelters of Saratoga, you're providing vital and sustained funding to assist individuals experiencing homelessness throughout the year.

Consider establishing a Split Interest Charitable Fund today to make a lasting impact on our community!
